Why I chose amador trail stewardship
Formed by community volunteers in 2022, Amador Trail Stewardship is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to providing outdoor recreation opportunities. They strive to develop, provide access to and maintain multi-use trail systems that enhance the local community. ATS wants to see residents living healthy lifestyles and to invite surrounding communities to enjoy Amador County’s natural beauty while increasing commerce to the area.
I am extremely pleased to to have my adventure raise both awareness and funds for Amador Trail Stewardship and to have them fill such an important role in working towards making our community a better place to live and play.
I’m also grateful for the opportunity to fulfill my retirement passion to create and embark on annual self-funded, expedition length adventures designed to challenge human endurance, spirit and resolve and for the additional purpose of raising funds and awareness for non-profit charitable organizations.
